Pontefract Pumas vs. Wrenthorpe B

The Pumas started the evening on the back foot, conceding the first three mixed games to a strong Wrenthorpe B side. However, they fought back with determination, as the ladies pressed forward to claim victory in two of their three matches.

The men’s doubles put up a strong fight, managing to secure one win, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide, with the final result ending in a 6-3 win for our visitors.

A special shoutout to both juniors who played some fantastic badminton—well done! The team took away valuable lessons from the last two matches, and with key areas identified for improvement, they are ready to raise their performance levels for the next challenge in February.
